INITIAL SKETCHES ALONG SIDE THEIR COMPLETED GARMENT.
A riff on the deconstructed Canadian tuxedo. All buttons covered and sewn by hand.
Taking the nostalgic pattern of a youthful bandanna and turning it more womanly. Portraying a Western inspired yoke with hand covered buttons, retro cuffs, and mutton sleeves.
Snake skin, skin tight. Asymmetric sleeve and high neck fitted midi dress topped with a “hoof print” faux fur shrug.
With the act of pushing up her sleeves and getting to work, this strong shouldered denim look is made for the strong head it holds. This dress is turned sexy with an open back ad made up of two western yokes in the front. All buttons hand covered and hand sewn.
A strong shouldered and asymmetric collared jacquard top paired perfectly with a boot cut pant. Both the top and the pants portray a western inspired yoke that mirror each other and create a “midriff yoke”. The spotted pattern is inspired by the Appaloosa print of a horse.
Also known as being made from “liquid leather”, this charmeuse dress plays simple in silhouette but still stands strong with its yoke feature and handkerchief hem.
Another ensemble in the spotted Appaloosa print with versatile sleeves that can both be worn down, up, or in the asymmetric formation. Strapless bodice includes western inspired yoke.
Faux lace gown with 42 hand covered and hand sewn buttons (not to mention each buttons elastic loop). Western inspired yoke and tucked sleeves still show the strong side of the woman at her shoulders with this feminine gown. Right side of the bodice of the gown folds over to act as a lapel.
